Back in February we asked you to talk about lunch
Over 1,300 of you took our survey, and your feedback been really valuable – a huge thank you to everyone who told us what you already like on our menu, what you’d like to see more of, and what gets your taste buds tingling at lunchtimes in general. That teamed with what we see as the food trend hitting the market this year (more on that in my next blog) we set to work.
Laura and I have since been beavering away in the development kitchen and have come up with our brand new and improved lunch menu, which launches Wednesday 3rd May.
Here’s a quick run-down of our new dishes…
With flaked smoked salmon, French beans, olives, new potatoes and topped with a poached egg. Our signature Super Salad stays put, and you can still add your own choice of halloumi or chicken breast.
Vietnamese Banh-mi baguette with pulled jackfruit
We are seriously excited about this one – it’s vegan, it’s packed with healthy protein and pickled veg, and it’s flippin’ delicious.
The Cuban Sandwich
Slow roast pork loin, ham, Emmental cheese, gherkins and Dijon mustard. For those who have seen Chef the movie, yes that’s my dream.
Chicken Meatball Pasta
Our chicken and Parmesan meatballs are served with a tomato and basil sauce.
Summer Vegetable Risotto
Made with peas, asparagus, lemon, mint and (veggie) Parmesan.
The (even more) Ultimate Burger
Don’t worry, it’s still on the menu, but we have made it even more tasty. We have mixed our free range apple wood smoked bacon through our steak mince to make our new burger. Teamed with our Boston burger sauce, it’s a real winner.
