How and why we collect information

On our website

As with most websites, if you use our website and accept cookies, Google Analytics will let us know which pages have been visited, but this is the data of all our users, and you are unidentifiable as an individual. We just use the information to help us to improve our website and deliver a better more personalised service. It is possible to switch off cookies by setting your browser preferences.

If you get in touch

If you contact us through the website with feedback on one of our cafes, we store this for analysis and to get in touch with you if required. We will only identify you by your first name, and you are under no obligation to give this. This helps us improve our offer and service within the cafes. This is stored securely in the Sprinklr system, you can view their privacy policy here
We’ll ask for your name, email address and nearest café if you sign up for our newsletter, and this is stored securely by Mailchimp. We send an email about once a fortnight, with stories and funny stuff that we liked, as well as the odd email about our new dishes and drinks. We’ll only ever use your information for this purpose, and won’t share it with anyone else. You’re free to unsubscribe from this list at any time by emailing [email protected], or clicking the link in the email.

When you apply for a job
We work with Leisure Jobs for all our recruitment activities. They store all data on their servers, you can view their privacy policies here for Leisure Jobs, here for Indeed and here for Gumtree.
If you send us your CV and ask for us to keep it on file, we’ll store this securely for 6 months and then permanently delete it. You can find out more about what we do with your data when you apply for a job with us here > Candidate GDPR Privacy Policy
