Coffee

We are proud to serve genuinely high quality coffee from a selection of some of the finest farms in the world.   We look for coffees with depth & body that deliver lovely notes of cocoa & hazelnuts that stand up well through milk & this focus will not change. Our roasting partners ‘Extract Coffee’ are a young, dynamic & family-run business based in our spiritual home of Bristol who understand & share our ethos for absolute dedication to coffee quality.   Our ‘Head of Coffee’ Andrew Tucker works closely with ‘Extract’ owner & 2011 UK Cup Tasting champion David Faulkner, to ensure that we continually improve what we do by offering directly traded, seasonal, hand-roasted coffees that perfectly fit the BTP flavor profile that our customers know & love.  By working closely together to share knowledge & expertise, our businesses enjoy a synergy that reflects the very core of what we have always been about here at Boston - high quality, locally sourced produce served in the best way possible. The coffees at BTP might change with the seasons but our love for the diversity & variety of flavors that exists within specialty coffee will never waver.

Barista Training

All of our baristas are lovingly trained to the highest possible standards to ensure that they fully understand the intricacies of specialty coffee & how to brew the perfect cup.  It is this dedication to training that sets us apart from our competition.

House Coffee

The UK as a nation still drinks the vast majority of its coffee with milk in one guise or another & so it has always been paramount for us to select beans that deliver great flavor when served in a cappuccino or caffe latte, yet still retaining a good balance of sweetness, acidity & body when drunk as an espresso.

Coffee Kids

Coffee Kids’ mission is to work with the coffee-farming families of Latin America to improve their lives and livelihoods.  Through programmes in education, health awareness, microcredit, food security & capacity building their efforts allow coffee farmers to reduce their dependence on the volatile coffee market & confront the most pressing community needs.
