Food

The development of our menu is an on going, ever evolving process.  It starts in the creative brain of our Anita - our lovely & brilliant ‘Head of Food’ & goes on to be trailed & tested by the not insubstantial culinary prowess of our Ops Team.  Between them there is a great knowledge & an endlessly fussiness – a culinary Dragon’s Den if you will.  Patrick, our Operations Manager came to us from years at the catering coalface, a veteran of large catering event company - no detail or mistake escapes him.  Andy, while his job title is ‘Head of Coffee’ we actually call him the ‘Andy App’.  Just name any place in the country & he will tell you the best place for a coffee, a sarnie or a bang up meal & he is always spot on.  Jo, nicknamed the Brain, is Italian so her food critiquing credentials are implicit.   Finally Sam, the MD – a massive food fascist & the ultimate food snob.   With an ability to make Gordon Ramsey feel like Wendy Craig he is the hardest to please of all.   They leave in their wake many a fine dish - if it doesn’t get the green light from all the Ops Team then it doesn’t get on the menu.
