Shaun has arrived!

Today marks the start of the Shaun in the City trail. Our Gloucester Road cafe has ‘Star Bake’ Shaun based outside the building.

He was designed by Tom Hovey, the artist who creates the amazing sketches for The Great British Bake Off and Shaun is designed with cake very much in mind! From profiteroles for feet, iced buns for ears and layers of fruit and cream on the body, he looks good enough to eat!

And funnily enough, you can do too! Throughout the trail we are selling chocolate ganache filled doughnuts topped with icing and a raspberry, just like Shaun’s head! They have been developed for us by the amazing Hobbs House Bakery and all profits will be donated to the The Grand Appeal, the Bristol Children’s Hospital Charity.

Also during the trail, we will be holding a weekly draw for the best designed Shaun colouring sheets in cafe, with the winners picking up a meal for 4!

Finally, if you are heading down for a selfie with Shaun, if you tag #BTPShaun when you post the picture on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram, we will pick the best shot each week and they too will win a free meal for 4!
